Many changes happen to your body after having a baby! Getting back to your pre- pregnancy state can be a challenge if you don’t know the right way to go about it! There are several issues that can effect you in the post partum period and seeking your doctors advise is not always helpful!
My biggest frustration, that I hear over and over again from post partum women, is how they go to their doctor complaining of one issue or another and the doctor just shrugs it off as a common thing that happens after childbirth.
“What do you expect, you just had a baby!” is the common feeling women are left with after visiting their doctor. Doctors don’t understand all the issues that can be healed with physical therapy and bodywork. Women feel like they are just supposed to live with these issues, and many do. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been, how old your “baby” is, your pelvis and pelvic floor tissues can be helped.
The sad thing is, many women are left suffering when they don’t need to. You have all the information you need right here in this video to understand what might be going on. So, it is important for YOU to become well-educated about issues that may occur after birth and what YOU can do about them.

When I teach my How to Get Rid of the Pooch for Good classes women are always amazed at the important information they learn. They feel so empowered to know they can take care of their body, and they know what to do to help themselves and even avoid common issues. In the class I just touch on these issues and don’t go into much detail other than there is help for them. But in this video I show you what you can do yourself to help reverse common post partum issues such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and back and neck pains.
During pregnancy, it is not uncommon for a woman’s abdominal muscles to separate. This is called Diastasis Recti. In the last 5 years I”ve helped hundreds of women lose inches in their belly, heal their separations, restore strength in their core and learn how to better take care of their post partum bodies.
I have developed a system to help women learn how to heal their diastasis recti by learning one exercise they can do anytime and anyplace! But it’s not just about an exercise, you need to understand how to heal the tissues and how to use your body so your abdominal muscles can heal. In fact, there is one motion, you do several times a day, when done wrong, will keep the separation from healing.
This information is so important because your body wants to heal after childbirth, we just don’t allow it to by doing the wrong things.
Crunches are not the answer!
I had one frustrated gal come to my class proclaiming she had been doing 200 sit ups everyday and still had her pooch. When I explained why, she quickly started doing the exercise I teach, and much to her dismay, got great results with a flatter belly and healed separation with in a matter of weeks!
